display in SIRSI will display superscripts and all diacritics when we load the
version with Unicode, which we haven’t done yet. It is an irritant that
superscripts don’t display in the web version (they do in the staff
version, by the way—so we help patrons who need to see the signature
statement using that version); many diacritics also don’t display (dots
above and below the line, macron, etc.). We’re patiently waiting for the
glorious day of Unicode </span><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Wingdings;

bracketed statements—you’ll have to change them all back once the
