Thanks, Eric! I don't have ready access to a digital camera, but the book
I mentioned basically looks as if somebody's cat had walked across it
after dipping his paws in ink. Since the Web site refers to the result as
cat's paw marbling, I guess that answers the question of what kind of
calf binding to call it, namely marbled.<br><br>
