Hi All,

I need opinions on the symbol used to sign the preliminaries in a
book I am cataloging.

The book is: Artzneybuch Fast wunder köstlich ...
Königsperg in Preussen : durch Johann Daubman, M. D. LV.

You can see the symbol here:
http://nbn-resolving.de/urn:nbn:de:gbv:3:1-318026-p0005-7

My main question, is this an asterism ⁂ or a "therefore" sign ∴ ?
Secondary to that, since neither symbol can be reproduced on OCLC,
what is the preferred bracketed term for each?

⁂ = [asterism] or [triple star]

∴ = [therefore] or [triple dot]

or something else entirely!

Thank you,
Barbara
