this blog post by Thom Hickey, our Chief Research Scientist and the brains behind VIAF, might therefor be of interest. He describes in detail the processes used for matching VIAF name headings with name headings in the bib records in WorldCat. Fascinating
stuff for us geeks. :)</div>
