After re-reading the original message, I thought my response needed a<br>
disclaimer. The RBMS type evidence thesaurus introduction<br>
<<a href="http://rbms.info/vocabularies/introductions/TypeIntro.htm" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">http://rbms.info/vocabularies/introductions/TypeIntro.htm</a>> indicates that<br>
the thesaurus is appropriate for describing types--both the impressions<br>
produced from type and the actual type sorts--scope notes of other terms in<br>
the thesaurus would suggest that this is inclusive of hand-set moveable<br>
type and various mechanical letterpress methods, stereotype plates, and<br>
even computer typography, but NOT not to lettering/text produced by other<br>
methods such as engraving/intaglio, lithography, calligraphy/manuscript,<br>
or typewriter. So for the engraved Strauss title pages, perhaps something<br>
from the Getty Art and Architecture Thesaurus<br>
