<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Georgia","serif"">I learned something new today about the scope of Pollard & Redgrave's STC (and thus of the ESTC): it includes ecclesiastical service books, wherever printed, for use in England and Scotland. The question
came from Caroline Duroselle-Melish, our curator of early modern books and prints, who wanted to know why breviaries in Latin with Paris imprints had STC numbers. The answer: they were Sarum rite, i.e., according to the use in Salisbury.
