<p class="MsoNormal">As previously announced, the RBMS Controlled Vocabularies Editorial Group is developing a new resource for the rare materials cataloging community. As part of this process, the committee will be evaluating existing terms for inclusion in
the new thesaurus. The committee is also designing this tool within the context of recent and ongoing developments in other vocabularies used by the community.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">To assist the committee in this ongoing process we are asking the rare materials cataloging community to respond to a short survey on vocabulary use. We encourage all those interested to respond; institutions do not need to designate a
