<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Georgia","serif"">As I'm reviewing the Examples to Accompany DCRM(S), and revving up for teaching Rare Book Cataloging next week, I was reminded that in terms of spelling and style the DCRMs follow the latest
editions of the <i>Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary</i> and the <i>Chicago Manual of Style</i> (CMOS), respectively. I finally bought the bullet and bit into CMOS 17, and while reviewing the capitalization rules (chapter 8), I noticed that a lot had
changed since AACR2 Appendix A (itself based on earlier editions of CMOS), that at least in the DCRM(B) world we've continued to follow.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
