are the source for most EEBO scans in a local note in the bibliographic record, so I can’t imagine anyone objecting if you emulated them. The challenge would be to remember to remove the note if/when EEBO corrects the error.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<i>not</i>. As it happens, it was our copy from which EEBO’s reproduction was originally made, and they are clearly not the same. I’ve written to ProQuest and that information has been forwarded for review–but I’m not holding my breath. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
