of plates." I'm cataloging a book containing six plates, numbered I-VI. All but one are folded and bound at the inner margin, so that makes [11] leaves of plates (and I would explain the numbering in a note). So far so good. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">But where I get flummoxed is that the first of those folded-and-bound-at-the-middle plates also folds out along its bottom edge (picture a large sheet folded in quarters). Is this then [2] folded leaves of plates? The final leaf of plates
is also a fold-out, but as it is attached at its left margin it does not present a problem. There would seem to be, then, 3 folded leaves.<o:p></o:p></p>

figuring out what I'm trying to describe.<o:p></o:p></p>
