The Folger Shakespeare Library hosts a series of informal sessions each spring and fall called Practical Paleography, with a dual educational and practical goal--teaching English secretary hand while building up a corpus of transcribed manuscripts, making incredibly
rich archival sources available to the (print-)reading public. </div>
