I do not see the need for this term, unless it is needed for new text in
the rules, in discussing what's meant by plates. This is among some
suggested terms that seem to be going well beyond the underlying purpose of
the DCRB glossary--to supplement or vary from AACR2 definitions--in the
direction of a general glossary of bibliographical terms, which doesn't
seem like a terribly hot idea to me.
