[DCRM-L] Public review of DCRM(S) invited

Dear Colleagues,

The Bibliographic Standards Committee of RBMS presents a draft of 
DCRM(S): Descriptive Cataloging of Rare Materials (Serials) for 
public review.  The DCRM modules include a revision of Descriptive 
Cataloging of Rare Books, 2nd ed., 1991 and extensions into 
non-monograph materials.  DCRM(S) has been some years in the 
making.  There will be a public hearing at the ALA meeting on 
Saturday, 24 June 2006.  Deadline for written comments is *31 August
