I have been using the BL ESTC database too. I would be in favor of the
first option on Barry's list, minus the comma: ESTC (BL) |c W28314
Thanks, Michael

Subject: [DCRM-L] ESTC available on BL web site
I just tried the British Library web site and I found out that public
access to ESTC is now available:
http://estc.bl.uk
The item I am cataloguing is, in RLIN
ESTCW28314
On the British Library web site the number is given as:
STAR id W28314
So it looks as though we we need to decide both how to refer to the site
and how to transcribe the id number
ESTC (BL),|cW28314
ESTC (BL),|cSTAR id W28314
ESTC,|cW28314
etc.
