I think you're right, Alex. I'll plan to replace the colon with a dash
unless I hear a reasoned objection.

The example in 2B5.2 reads:
   Optional note: "Preface to the first edition": p. 5-7

Should the colon after the closing quotation mark be replaced by a
double 
dash, following 7A4.2?
