John Pull and his colleagues put a lot of work into converting the BSC
and thesaurus web pages and moving them to the new RBMS.info site. They
are to be thanked and congratulated.
This move means that we now have stable URL's for Bib Standards
documents, regardless of the chair's or thesaurus editor's home
institution. Long overdue! The Folger site is still up for the time
being, but I will be taking it down after making sure that automatic
forwarding works properly. (Of course, first I have to find out how to
insert that little bit of electronic instruction!)

Subject: [RBMS] Redesign of RBMS.INFO
Hello all,
With utmost pleasure I announce the full visual redesign of the RBMS
Website.
Please visit http://rbms.info to see the changes.
The redesign was made possible by the generosity and excellent work of
the RBMS Web Team, including Chris Smith, Christian Dupont, and James
Ascher.
The design itself is the work of Cornell's award-winning web designer
Ken Williams, and was shepherded into our hands by Katherine Reagan.
And finally, something of a homecoming: the pages of the Bibliographic
Standards Committee (including the Controlled Vocabularies database),
formerly residing on the servers of the Folger and OSU, now are under
our own Unix umbrella.
Please join me in congratulating all who worked on the project.
Sincerely,
John Pull, RBMS Web Editor
