Thank you to all of you who volunteered for a DCRM(S) reading
assignment. We've got your name and you will be receiving your
assignment by the end of this week.

If you would still like to volunteer, it's not too late! No particular
knowledge of serials or serials cataloging required. Just let me know
ASAP.

Greetings,

The RBMS Bibliographic Standards Committee is making the final push
towards completing the text of Descriptive Cataloging of Rare Materials
(Serials), or DCRM(S), the second component of the DCRM suite of
cataloging manuals.

The DCRM(S) editors are looking for volunteers to read a section or two
of the text and provide comments/corrections. BSC members will be given
assignments, but anyone else willing to lend a hand will be greatly
appreciated. This draft will include the brand new DCRM(S) index!

If you are interested, please respond to me directly by Monday, April
14. Reading assignments will be made that week and comments will be due
on Friday, May 2.

Thanks in advance,
Randal Brandt
