Colleagues:

In advance of the public hearing for Descriptive Cataloging of Rare Materials (Manuscripts), the editors invite you to ask questions, make comments and voice concerns about the attached text. 

We encourage everyone to attend the public hearing at the American Library Association's Midwinter Conference in Philadelphia on Saturday, January 25th, 2014 from 7:30-9:00 pm at the Loews Hotel (Regency A). If you cannot attend in person, the editors will continue to accept comments through February 14, 2014. Please send these comments and questions to Jennifer Nelson at jnelson at law.berkeley.edu and please use the subject line: DCRM(MSS) comments.

Attached is both a .doc and .pdf of the full text. The editors have set up a wiki with instructions on how to provide comments: http://dcrmmsspublichearing.pbworks.com
