Laura, could you give us an idea of the audience for the presentation? Fellow catalogers? Library administrators? Faculty group?

Thanks,

Erin.

Subject: [DCRM-L] Problems in Special Collections Cataloging

Hello All,

I'm putting together a presentation about the current problems and solutions in Special Collections Cataloging, but I've been out of the Special Collections field for a few years and I'm not caught up on any new issues that may have developed or grown more prominent over that time. I would be very grateful for people's opinions on what issues their special collections are having with regards to cataloging. Please feel free to e-mail me at laura.bohuski at wku.edu<mailto:laura.bohuski at wku.edu> with your ideas or any issues you have had personally in your collections. Also apologies for any cross posting, as this was already posted on Auto Cat and Ex-libris, and as I have not gotten many responses I would greatly appreciate any ideas or thoughts on the matter. Also feel free to post your responses to the list if you think others would find the information interesting.

Thank you all very much!

Laura Bohuski
