FYI, a paper about consolidating the FR models will be presented at IFLA in August:  Introducing the FRBR Library Reference Model

The English language PDF of this 7 page paper is available at: http://library.ifla.org/1084/. Note that the world-wide review of the full model is expected to start in early 2016.
