Dear Colleagues,

The Controlled Vocabularies Editorial team is pleased to announce that scope notes for the following 7 terms have been finalized and will be added to the Controlled Vocabularies genre list in the next update: http://rbms.info/vocabularies/genre/alphabetical_list.htm

With no changes:
*       Acrostics
*       Administrative regulations
*       Adaptations
*       Addresses

With some changes:
* Account books - new wording for SN adopted per suggestion on blog; SN now reads: Use for books in which details of financial transactions are recorded.
* Publishers' advertisements -- no change to proposed SN; however, per suggestion on blog, Publishers' catalogs was added as a NT of Publishers' advertisements
* Advertising mail - although proposed SN remains unchanged, we changed the form of the term from Advertising mail to Direct mail, to align with usage in AAT, LCSH, GMGPC, and Random House Unabridged Dictionary (2nd ed.)

Re-posting on comment blog:
* Advertisements - the wrong SN was inadvertently posted on the comment blog during the most recent comment period. We are re-posting this term on the blog with the correct SN: Use for public notices or announcements of available goods and services.

The editors appreciate your very helpful comments and suggestions-Thank you!
