Hi Leslie, the scope note for Sammelbands:
"Use for separately-produced works bound together for the owner during the medieval or early modern period."
I just don't think of the 19th-20th cens. as the "early modern period." Have you been using this term for all bound volumes?

Why don't they seem sammelband-y to you?

Greetings, O Wise Ones, I'm faced with a large project to catalog some of our collection of bound volumes of sheet music. Chiefly 18-19th century, these volumes don't really seem Sammelband-y to me-does anyone have a go-to genre term for this kind of thing? Think I remember some discussion on this list about this topic several years ago but am not sure what the official upshot was.
Suggestions?
Grateful thanks,
andrea
