The Harry Ransom Center, at the University of Texas at Austin, seeks a
Professional Librarian to serve as Ransom Center Manager for Authorities &
Maintenance.  The Librarian performs original and complex copy cataloging
of modern and pre-1821 monographs, printed ephemera, and non-book formats
according to national and local standards, chiefly RDA, DCRMB, and other
descriptive formats as appropriate, and coordinates and participates in the
maintenance of special tracings, notes, description, use of controlled
vocabularies, and name authorities in UTCAT.
