Subject: [DCRM-L] OCLC holdings, Gale 19th c. collections e-resources

Hi All,
We've noticed here at the Rubenstein that Gale has been using the OCLC record number for the print record in the their provided e-resource records for Nineteenth Century Collections Online. The cataloger here at Duke who deals with Gale plans to send them feedback. However, this has led to many libraries attaching their e-resource holdings to the print record rather than the e-resource record in OCLC. In the example below, you can see 130 holdings for the print record vs. 4 holdings on the e-resource record.

Does anyone know who would be best to contact at OCLC about this issue?

Thanks,
Lauren

Example

OCLC 21249694 (print record)
OCLC 879433751 (e-resource record)
