[DCRM-L] delimiter display in OCLC for RBMS terms

As I was cataloging in Connexion yesterday, I happened to notice that whenever I added a relator term to an added entry and tried to control the field, the double dagger changed to a dollar sign. Is this happening for anyone else? Does it matter?

I find it very bizarre.
