Ann,

Wonderful addition, but could you please use OCLC record #11108864 instead of the one you are currently using for CLC?

Thanks,

We had just added the Cathedral libraries catalog to the Standard Citation Forms database, and I have now added CLC as a previous citation form to the record.

Thanks,

Dear Noah,

Try the Cathedral Libraries Catalogue:

The cathedral libraries catalogue : books printed before 1701 in the libraries of the Anglican cathedrals of England and Wales / by Margaret S. G. McLeod (neìe Hands) and others ; edited and completed by Karen I. James and David J. Shaw. Vol. 1, Books printed in the British Isles and British America and English books printed elsewhere (London: British Library, 1984)

The cathedral libraries catalogue. Vol. 2 Books printed on the continent of Europe, before 1701 in the libraries of the Anglican cathedrals of England and Wales / by David J. Shaw, editor-in-chief ... [et al.]. (London: British Library, 1998).

Best wishes,
Karen

Can anyone identify a bibliography abbreviated as CLC? I have lately come across a few 16th-century continental editions with this citation, and I'm stumped. I have checked this form against Standard Citation Forms for Rare Materials Cataloging to no avail.

Books with a CLC number often also seem to have an Adams (i.e. Adams, H.M. Catalogue of books printed on the continent of Europe, 1501-1600, in Cambridge libraries) - if that gives a clue to the scope.

Thank you.
