[DCRM-L] German prayer book with no information

Hi, Dawn,

It looks to me like you have a book titled *Buss- und Communion-Andachten*
(Penance and communion devotions), which is very similar to many other
titles, but doesn't quite match. I don't see any publications that start
with Heiliges Kirchen-Opfer either.

I am sure others will have good advice for you. What *I* would do is put *Buss-
und* C*ommunion-Andachten* in the 245 and make a 500 note saying that the
title was taken from the contents pages at the back of the book. I'd make a
note that the description is based on an imperfect copy, and say
specifically that the front matter, including the title page, are missing.
I'm guessing it was rebound without these pages.

You might also make a 246 for *Gott geheiligten Buss- und Communion
Andachten; *and maybe another for* Herrn Benjamin Schmolcken's Gott
geheiligten Buss- und Communion-Andachten.*

I'd put the part titles in a 505. [Heiliges Kirchen-Opfer -- Tägliches
Opfer bey den gewöhnlichen Bet-Stunden in der Kirche -- Schmerzliches Buss-
und Beicht-Opfer].

Let us know if someone finds it for you! Good luck.

Joan
