I reproduce exact capitalization in the 246, even though it's coded 3#, as much for avoiding the discomfort of seeing lower-case Latin spelling that doesn't exist in the wild as for letterform representation.

And if you include a 246 which is a more exact transcription of the source, so much the better. The real direct matching points are glyphs.

I’m not the best expert on this, but I think you have it right. Frequently v is used in initial position and u everywhere else. In all caps they use v, but that does not indicate the usage for the book as a whole.

Even with instructions in front of me, I always feel unsure about this. Could someone confirm I have these correct: institucion, Inmaculada, Vrbano, Sevilla. The word ciudad has a u.
