Hi,
I am wondering what the consensus is on labeling bibliographic records as a
government publication when they are published: "Avec Approbation &
Privilege du Roi," and when they are created by royal academies, or by
request of the royal leadership or government? It would seem that nearly
everything would be deemed a government publication during certain epochs,
sort of like all art being church-sponsored during the Middle Ages.
Thank you for your intelligence on this.
