[DCRM-L] Reminder: RBMS committee volunteer form closing soon!

Hi all,
This is just a reminder from the co-chairs of the Rare Books & Manuscripts Section Bibliographic Standards Committee that the RBMS committee volunteer form for appointments is still open! However, the deadline to volunteer is tomorrow, February 28, 2025, for appointments that begin July 1, 2025.  Please visit https://www.ala.org/acrl/membership/volunteer/volunteer  for a link to the form.

New this year: committee chairs and conveners have compiled a Google doc<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Fzs2pPsOE-LWVeLAcFXJWpKMzJOnhxc_7MgMskVDmX0/edit?usp=sharing> with information about each committee with openings, including information about responsibilities, time commitment and meeting frequency. Keep in mind that BSC has its own document<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1NbQOdYeze1ammoD7zzLX0eRunTUpKl1_hx9yLxryEtY/edit?usp=sharing> with more specific information about our own committee. Whether you are interested in BSC or another RBMS committee, please consider volunteering or suggesting a committee to a colleague! If you have any questions about BSC or the RBMS volunteer process, don't hesitate to let us know.
