[DCRM-L] RBMS vocabulary updates March 2025

Dear colleagues,

The RBMS Controlled Vocabulary for Rare Materials Cataloging<https://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/rbmscv.html> (RBMS CVRMC) has been updated and new terms are available for use. New terms added to the RBMS CVRMC in this update are:

  *   Baby books
  *   Biological insertions
  *   Legends [formerly Myths and legends]
  *   Myths [formerly Myths and legends]
  *   Pressed plants
  *   Singer-sewn bindings

The previously existing term "Myths and legends" has been depreciated and replaced with two separate new terms.
