Please see below for an announcement from California Rare Book School - applications for summer 2026 are open now, and the deadline for priority consideration is next Wednesday, April 15.
Of possible particlar interest to members of this list is my Rare Book Cataloging<https://www.calrbs.org/rare-book-cataloging-2026/> course, which will be taught August 10-14 at the William Andrews Clark Memorial Library in Los Angeles.

Don’t miss the opportunity to join us for the Summer 2026 season at California Rare Book School (CalRBS).
We are actively accepting applications, and the Priority Deadline is now just two weeks away: Wednesday, April 15, 2026. After that, we will continue accepting applications on a rolling basis until seats are filled (12 participants for in-person courses and 15–20 for online courses).
Explore our in-person courses in Mexico City, Mexico; New York; and Los Angeles, or opt for the convenience of online learning. A limited number of scholarship awards are available to librarians, archivists, scholars, booksellers, collectors, graduate students, and others. All course applicants are eligible to apply. The deadline for scholarship consideration is Wednesday, April 15, 2026. After that, rolling applications will remain open until all scholarships are awarded.
