[DCRM-L] Join OCLC’s Virtual AskQC sessions on August 11 or 20

This month’s topic is one every cataloger struggles with: Choosing a good class number: A closer look at ambiguous situations in DDC and LCC. Kate James and Alex Kyrios of OCLC will discuss how to assign the appropriate Library of Congress or Dewey Decimal classification number when a subject could reasonably class in more than one place. They will share examples of classification overlaps with tips on how to decide between two numbers. If you have ever typed and deleted a class number multiple times in a record, this one’s for you!
