Hi all,
Hopefully it is ok for me to send this to you all, if not I apologize.
Come join me at the University of Kentucky Special Collections Research
Center, and feel free to reach out off list if you have questions. Our
collections are great and you will have plenty of variety to work with.
Here's the official language:
We are now accepting applications for the Special Collections and Rare
Books Cataloging Librarian position: https://ukjobs.uky.edu/postings/614426
<https://ukjobs.uky.edu/postings/614426>
*Application review will begin 2/14/2026, but the position will remain open
until filled*. The minimum salary for a Librarian IV is $57,000 and for a
Librarian III is $62,500. This is a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track
eligible position.
For consecutive years now, the University of Kentucky has been recognized
as one of the best employers in higher education
<https://uknow.uky.edu/campus-news/uk-named-great-college-work-6th-consecutive-year>
and recognized as one of Forbes’ Best-in-State Employers (

).
This national recognition is due in part to the wide array of excellent
benefit options available to employees, including, but not limited to, the
incredibly generous 200% retirement match: Benefits

.
Library tenure-track faculty are also eligible to receive a generous
relocation allowance, start-up funding for research, and annual
professional development/travel funds.
Best wishes,
Colleen Barrett
