[DCRM-L] [External] Re: ESTC access?

Many thanks for this update, Iris!

The ESTC has mostly been working for me today, but a few times pages would refuse to load, or I would get hit with a "Proxy Error" page. For the most part things have been stable today, but I wanted to note these experiences in case they are valuable for the CERL's technical team to be aware of.

I am pleased to inform you that CERL have just told me that the issue with North American access to their websites (ESTC, ISTC, MEI, etc.) has been fixed. I am very sorry for the inconvenience this configuration issue has caused.

Unfortunately, I can’t test this myself but if you are still experiencing any problems, please, let me know.

I’ve just been in touch with the British Library ESTC people - they are not experiencing any problems.

But whatever it is, it seems to be affecting many of us in the US, and they’ve also put in an urgent message to the CERL help desk.

But it’s after 5 in Göttingen, where the servers are, so I’m not expecting anything until tomorrow.

Yes, for hours now - I’ve sent a message to the CERL IT help desk, but only an automated response so far.
