[DCRM-L] Music Score Cataloging for the Uninitiated: OCLC March 2024 Virtual AskQC Office Hours

Do you have to catalog the occasional music score but are not a music cataloger? Do you have minimal experience cataloging music scores yet are expected to catalog a growing backlog of them? Are you intimidated by the thought of cataloging a score when you never learned to read music? Join us for Music Score Cataloging for the Uninitiated on either Tuesday, March 12 (10 AM Eastern Time) or Thursday, March 21 (4 PM Eastern Time). Please attend whichever is convenient for you.

Morris Levy, OCLC's liaison to the Music Library Association and the Music OCLC Users Group, will lead this session, which will include an overview of music cataloging resources, a review of relevant MARC fields, and examples from classical and popular music.
