I agree with Bob's comments, but I would like to add that a discussion of
the facts 1) that serials cataloging is sometimes less bound to exact
transcription than monographic cataloging and 2) how this tradition fits
in with the special collections emphasis on the physical artifact. 
P.S. Can one use DCRMs to describe an e-zine?.
