Although I believe that it is prudent to pay attention to the wording of 
AACR2.12-2.18 in the revision process, I think requiring AACR2 2.12-2.18 
*conform to DCRM(B)* would be pushing a bit far.  BDRB/DCRB have served, as 
presumably DCRM(B) will, as more comprehensive rules for the description of 
rare materials than AACR2 provides.  Libraries may choose to use DCRB, etc. 
*instead of* AACR2.12-2.18 (cf. DCRB OA final paragraph).  AACR2 is not a 
condensation of DCRM(B); DCRM(B) is an expansion of/alternate to AACR2.
