[DCRM-L] Reconsidering digraphs

I just want to say that I am both gratified and enlightened by the
diligent, thoughtful and articulate posts on this subject. What has
become clear to me is that the digraph/ligature issue is similar to the
ijuv issue in that there is no obviously superior solution, so we must
find the least painful one. This is by no means to cut off discussion;
rather, I want to encourage it. I am myself not ready to weigh in, as
there is much to ponder.
