I don't know, Will, but I'll forward your request to Bruce Johnson at
CDS.

Thank you all for officially allowing this change of focus. BTW
is it possible to place pre-publication orders for DCRM(B)?

	Best,

		Dear DCRM-Lers,

Since DCRM(B)'s publication is imminent (yay!), Deborah,
Manon, and I have been thinking about DCRM-L and suggest a slight change
of focus. We propose that the list now be open to rare materials
cataloging questions and discussions in general rather than only
specifically focussing on the rule revision process (though that
discussion will continue as necessary--we still have the other modules
to publish!). This has already started to happen a bit--we have from
time to time had people write in with cataloging questions. I think the
three of us just wanted to make clear that we think that is fine and
hope we'll be able to use the list to help folks with specific problems
and promote rare materials cataloging generally. We hope this change of
focus will be welcome. The list members are a great resource, and a
narrowly tailored list devoted to rare cataloging issues might be more
useful to some than the rather free wheeling range of topics that come
up on the other rare materials related lists.

		Thanks,
		Bob
