I'm not sure my previous message to DCRM-L went through, so I am sending
this info directly to you.

 

Appendix G looked fine. I only found the same errant comma that had been
reported earlier.

 

Area 5: I noted the same italics items cited earlier.

Also, the following lines on p. 93 need to be boldface as headings:[DJL]
Fixed

5A1. Prescribed punctuation

5A2. Sources of information

 

Only one other item in Area 5:  On p.105 (5C1.1) I would have inserted a
comma after the word "illustration."  That may be a personal style
question, however.[DJL]  Added. It's a dependent clause preceding the
main clause, and so should be followed by a comma (Chicago 15th, 6.35)

Hi Deborah,

With all the work you are doing on DCRM, things are likely to get
mislaid occasionally.  I would still like to help.  With the time
crunch, perhaps I should start with Appendix G (which is shorter) and
see how I do.  If I should get a windfall of time, then I can turn to
area 5, but that seems unlikely in the next couple days.

Matt, I just discovered this email of yours--I'd filed it in the wrong
folder, and so forgot to give you an assignment. If you're still willing
to participate, we could use additional proofreaders on area 5 and/or
Appendix G. The text and proofreading instructions are at

to DCRM-L, which relieves proofreaders after the first from having to
report formatting problems.
