2B2.1 The text of this sub-rule is in bold face type, which is
inconsistent
with the other sub-rules.[DJL] Fixed
2B9.1 "Precede each parallel statement by an equals sign." - I
know equals
sign is an acceptable form of this noun, but is the usage
intentional?[DJL] Yes; I just checked, and AACR2 and ISBD use it in
that form. But now that you pointed it out, it's going to be like a
pebble in my shoe. Why oh why didn't they call it "equal sign"?
"2C2. Transposition of statements of responsibility not relating
to the
edition" -Should this be in bold face type? [DJL] Fixed. Should
the paragraph that
follows this be numbered 2C2.1?[DJL] No; we won't number a 1 if
there isn't a 2.
2C3.2 "Do not introduce the semicolon (as in 1E14)" -The
specific sub-rule
that includes examples on the semicolon is 1E14.2.[DJL] Fixed
Hope this helps.[DJL] Sure does!
Best,
Will.
