Dear colleagues,

Some of you are getting your copies of DCRM(B), and the question has arisen several times about the 040 code and when it can be used. The code is 

dcrmb

and is available for use now. As of 16 December 2006, actually. 

I urge everyone to read the prefatory section "Changes from DCRB" and the introductory sections IV and VIII before beginning to catalog using DCRM(B).
