[DCRM-L] Signatures question

We don't add signature statements for books published after 1801. I was told that's the rule of thumb for rare book collections. Not true?

Why not, if the book has signatures?

Subject: Re: [DCRM-L] Signatures question

Hello:

I have a related question. We don't provide a signature note for books
published after 1799. Is that incorrect?
Thank you,

/Oksana.
