[DCRM-L] Five-page summary of changes from DCRB to DCRM(B)

I started reading through it, and it *is* very helpful. Many thanks to
our friends in Britain for doing this.

I noticed one ... inaccuracy, I'll call it, for lack of a better word.

0G3.1: New rule: For alternative titles, it is no longer necessary to
have commas around the "or" (sive, seu, etc.) if they are not present in
the book.

This is meant to apply only when following the original punctuation
option. The continued use of double commas setting off "or" are implied,
although not stated, in the editorial comment pertaining to this
alternative rule.

I don't expect to find any others, but if I do, I'll post them to this
list. I know several members of the CILIP RBSCG read this list.

Erin

That's a most helpful observation. Thanks for sharing!

Just noticed that the UK Bibliographic Standards Committee of CILIP's
Rare Books and Special Collections Group has published a handy five-page
summary of major changes between DCRB and DCRM(B), in rule number order,
in the RBSCG Newsletter. See
