We also have acid-free flags with cutouts as well as a bookplate with a very thin strip of soft adhesive. The bookplate has the location, collection, barcode and call number. The flag has only the location and call number. We use an electronic typewriter that will accommodate macros to enter the call number on both the book plate and the flag. The macros are also handy for multi-part items.

We also print out a call number label (though we do it from the OCLC
record), attach both label and barcode to an acid-free strip, then
pencil in the call number on the item itself.
