For those interested in RDA stuff, I've copied below the Library of
Congress Policy Statements (LCPS) that refer to DCRM(B). The LCPS are
the equivalent of the Library of Congress Rule Interpretations (LCRI)
for AACR2. They were issued for the RDA test and have been fully
integrated into the RDA rules in the RDA Toolkit.

LCPS for 0.2
RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER STANDARDS FOR RESOURCE DESCRIPTION AND ACCESS
LC practice: The Library of Congress uses the descriptive standards
listed below instead of RDA for its cataloging of certain resources.
Access points are constructed according to RDA instructions.
Archival Moving Image Materials: a Cataloging Manual, 2nd ed.
(Washington, D.C.: Library of Congress, Cataloging Distribution
Service, 2000).
Cataloging Cultural Objects: a Guide to Describing Cultural Works and
Their Images (Chicago: American Library Association, 2006).
Descriptive Cataloging of Rare Materials (Books) (Washington, D.C.:
Cataloging Distribution Service, 2007).
Descriptive Cataloging of Rare Materials (Serials) (Washington, D.C.:
Cataloging Distribution Service, Library of Congress, 2008).
Parker, Elisabeth Betz, Graphic Materials: Rules for Describing
Original Items and Historical Collections (Washington, D.C.: Library
of Congress, 1982– ).
Society of American Archivists, Describing Archives: a Content
Standard (Chicago: Society of American Archivists, ©2004).

EXCEPTIONS
The Library of Congress will apply the guidelines in Descriptive
Cataloging of Rare Materials (Books) for books published before 1801
instead of the RDA exceptions for early printed resources.
=====================
LCPS for 1.4
Pre-Modern Forms of Letters <snip>
For the transcription of any of these letters in bibliographic
description for pre-1801 publications, apply Descriptive Cataloging of
Rare Materials (Books) (DCRM(B)). See LCPS 6.2.2.8 for the use of
these letters in authorized access points for works, to assure that
DCRM(B) titles file properly (i.e., together with the titles of
post-1800 publications).
Special Marks of Contraction in the Manuscript Tradition
When special marks of contraction have been used by the printer in
continuance of the manuscript tradition, expand affected words to
their full form, enclosing supplied letters within brackets, as
described in DCRM(B).

LCPS for 1.5.3
Analytical Descriptions for "Bound Together" Resources
LC practice: Create separate bibliographic records and apply "With"
notes (see RDA 28.1) when two or more resources issued independently
have been subsequently placed together under one cover or comparable
packaging. Also create separate records for rare books issued
universally as one physical volume by the publisher, etc., with
separate title pages, separate pagination/foliation, and separate
collation (i.e., signatures) for each work (see also Descriptive
Cataloging of Rare Materials (Books) (DCRM(B)) 7B18).
==========================
LCPS for 6.2.2.8
Pre-Modern Forms of Letters <snip>
For the transcription of pre-modern forms of letters in the preferred
title for pre-1801 publications, apply Descriptive Cataloging of Rare
Materials (Books) (DCRM(B)).
When a title chosen for the preferred title involves regularization of
i/j, u/v, apply the following: use "i" for vowels (e.g., iter, Ilias);
use "j" for consonants (e.g., jus, Julius); use "u" for vowels (e.g.,
uva, Ursa Major); use "v" for consonants (e.g., vox, Victoria); use
"w" for consonantal "uu" or "vv" (e.g., Windelia).
PCC practice: However, for the preferred title of a series published
after 1800, transcribe "i" and "j" as they appear.
=======================
LCPS for 28.1.1.3
Items Bound Together <snip>
In general cataloging, for all copy-specific (or probably
copy-specific) situations, add the statement "Bound together
subsequent to publication" or the statement "Probably bound together
subsequent to publication" and add DLC in subfield $5. For rare book
cataloging, adding one or the other of the statements regarding "bound
with" or "probably bound with" is optional according to DCRM(B) and
Rare Book Team practice. For universal bound-with situations, do not
add subfield $5.
