I hope some of you r.b. catalogers will sign onto this webinar. Conversation
on this list over past months has raised questions about what¹s permitted
for earlier books. Getting the up-to-date facts could help with continuing
that chat. -Jackie

Formats and Standards, provides a common basis for decision-making in the
creation of WorldCat records by member libraries. Now that automated
Duplicate Detection and Resolution (DDR) has been fully implemented in
WorldCat, it's more important than ever to know when to create a
bibliographic record that clearly distinguishes itself from similar ones
that describe different manifestations. During the webinar, you will also
learn about safeguarding unique bibliographic records to prevent them from
merging via DDR.
