[DCRM-L] Term for adhesions?

Colleages:

I have a book that has been embellished with woodcuts cut from a different book (unidentified) and mounted in various places to create head- and tail-pieces. I'm not sure how to trace these embellishments.

Looking at RBMS Provenance Evidence, "Insertions" and "Grangerized copies" seem to be the closest. But "Grangerized copies" lacks a scope note and in the book I'm cataloging the images are fully pasted onto the page.

AAT has a term "attachment", but it seems to refer to what we think of as attachments in an email.

Any suggestions are most welcome.

Thanks!

Nina
