[DCRM-L] Duplicate preliminary signatures

Hi,

I'm new to this list, and relatively new to rare books cataloging. I 
have a small publication from 1818, that has two gatherings of A⁴ 
followed by a gathering of B² (possibly printed by half-sheet 
imposition). So my question is, would the signature statement be:

A⁴ A⁴ B²

or do I need a superior pi (Gaskell, p. 331) for the duplicated 
preliminary signatures. If so, how do I encode this in OCLC Connexion?
